Evangelism Team

Many Episcopalians get nervous about the word “evangelism” because of bad experiences we’ve had elsewhere. However, evangelism is an important aspect of our faith that can be done in a way that is authentic to our Episcopal identity.

We believe that God is active and working throughout the world. Our Evangelism Team strives to identify where God is at work in our lives, in the life of our parish, and in our neighborhood. From there we can join God in that work, making the Kingdom of God known more fully in our lives and in the lives of our neighbors. That’s what Episcopal evangelism is all about.

Our team meets monthly to pray, to look for God at work in the world around us, and to discern how we can reach out and connect with our community.
